I have a wide range of clients, from large architectural practices, developers to individuals.  I always enjoy discussing potential work and how a painting may help get you a planning approval or form part of your marketing strategy.  I can usually give a good idea of my lead in time and will only take on projects where I know I can meet your deadlines.  Each painting is unique and offers new challenges which this helps maintain a high standard of work.  

It is difficult to price a painting at this early stage as this depends on complexity and scale of commission.  I normally offer discounts for multiple paintings of the same project or if there is an existing 3d model (usually in sketchup format). 

 

1:  You have a project that would benefit from a hand crafted illustration.

2:  Contact me via phone or email.  We can discuss the basic parameters and timescales involved.

3:  At  this stage you will normally send a package of drawings.  They can be pretty rough but having them to scale will help.  These can be sent in pdf format via email if that suits you.  The more information you can supply the better, as it will give me a rounded picture of the scheme.

4:  We can then agree budget and firm up  a deadline.

5: I will build a 3d model using cad software and start to find a viewpoint that best suits your requirements.  With the flexibility of a 3d model views can be tweaked until you are completely satisfied.

 

7: When you are happy I will begin working on the final illustration.  This will be done on high quality watercolour board. In the final stages I will photograph/ scan the painting and send through the draft for either sign off or to tweak any details.  Once complete I will then scan the image and produce a high resolution digital copy.  I will deliver final painting along with the digital copy saved to a cd.  Otherwise high res digital images can be downloaded from a file sharing site if thats more practical. The original can then follow on later or be sent via courier.
